We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from our team! Sarah, one of our dedicated audiologists, is taking on an incredible challenge this year, running the 2026 London Marathon.
Sarah has been part of our practice since 2021, helping patients every day to hear and connect with the world around them. Now, she’s channelling that same determination and dedication into preparing for 26.2 miles through the streets of London.

Running a marathon takes more than just stamina, it requires commitment, training, and resilience. Over the past months, Sarah has been pounding the pavements, balancing long runs with her busy schedule at the clinic, and inspiring all of us with her perseverance.
Sarah is running for a cause very close to her heart: the Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID). On her fundraising page, she shares:
“I will be running the London Marathon 2026 for RNID, the national hearing loss charity. I am running for a cause close to my heart. As an audiologist, I have met thousands of people with hearing loss and tinnitus, and have experienced tinnitus myself. Both can be extremely isolating and affect a person’s confidence, wellbeing and daily functioning. Research is underfunded and public education is lacking despite 18 million people in the UK being affected directly.
By sponsoring me you will be supporting a charity dedicated to funding world-leading research into both prevention and treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus, and changing society to make it more accessible. Any contribution will make a difference – big or small.”

We couldn’t be prouder of Sarah and her goal. She embodies the spirit of dedication we see in her work every day, and we know she’ll give it her all on race day.
