Tara initially trained as a nurse and developed expertise in coronary care, neurology and stroke rehabilitation. In 1994 she was offered the opportunity to study as a Hearing Aid Audiologist and the combination of nursing experience and exciting technological developments of private audiology became a successful combination. |

Nicole Williams
Practice Manager
Nicole has been with the practice since September 2005 and is responsible for the day to day running of the office. Having worked within the industry for over seven years she has gained an extensive knowledge and is available to answer any questions or queries you may have.

Toni Ball
Technical Assistant
Toni is the practice technician, and has a long history of working with the public and as such: her affable nature and high level of customer service standards make her a vital part of our team. With this in mind, Toni will be working alongside me and providing an additional support service.

Bernadette Mitchell RGN
Aural Care Nurse
As part of the ear care management service we have a specialist ENT Nurse, Bernadette, who is lead Aural Care practitioner at the John Radcliffe. She comes with 18 years experience in ENT and is also highly regarded as a lecturer practitioner. We are operating a specialist clinic on alternate Mondays which will be of particular benefit to those who have problem mastoid cavities, recent ear surgery and/or repeated infections.

Ian Bottrill BM FRCS(ORL)
Consultant ENT Surgeon
From time to time we may need to refer clients and we work closely with Ian Bottrill - Consultant Otolaryngologist who is an expert in his field and therefore can deal with more comprehensive treatment if required. We are pleased that when necessary we can call on Ian's expertise.
Although providing a service in all areas of outpatient and surgical ENT practice, Ian has a specialist interest in diseases of the ear. This includes childhood ear and hearing problems, surgery for ear infections, cholesteatoma, problems with the bones of hearing, otosclerosis and Eustachian tube problems. He also has extensive experience in the treatment of Ménière’s disease. Ian is a national expert in the use of gentamicin for Ménière’s disease.
