There are many different types of hearing loss which can be caused by infection, virus, noise trauma and ageing.

For most individuals, changes in hearing happen so gradually they are hardly noticeable. Research has shown that every second person over the age of 50 has difficulty hearing clearly in background noise.

Tinnitus which is a ringing noise heard in the ears (which often accompanies hearing loss) should always be discussed with your GP. If the tinnitus is associated with changes in hearing then it can usually be effectively masked with hearing aids.

All hearing systems are available with a 60 day evaluation and are inclusive of evaluation, wax removal and service appointments.

This period allows time to habitualise to the new hearing systems in your own environment and establish benefit on a day to day business. This process will incur no cost to you; you are welcome to purchase the hearing system should you be sufficiently impressed with its capabilities.
