In the past few weeks we have seen a change in the world with the spread of COVID-19, also known as coronavirus. Like you, we are monitoring and following news and health outlets, like Gov.uk, to ensure our practices stay as safe as possible.

 

Our position:

 

We will remain open for business as long as we remain healthy and there are no bans or quarantines on businesses.

 

To help prevent the spread of the disease, here is what we are doing based on Gov.uk/NHS recommendations:

 

We’re washing our hands more frequently than usual

We’ve implemented stronger infection prevention and control practices

We’re cleaning and sterilising desks, chairs, counters, doorknobs, etc multiple times a day and again each evening

Antibacterial hand sanitiser is available in all rooms and receptions

We’ve created an additional waiting room to minimise close contact between clients

We’re instructing staff to stay home if they feel sick or have a fever

We’re offering no-hassle rescheduling if you need to move an appointment – please call us to move it

We’re offering troubleshooting over the phone to see if we can walk you through an issue over the phone and save you a trip out

 

 

How You Can Help:

 

Reschedule your appointment if you or a loved one that you have been near has any of the following conditions: a fever in the past 14 days, been on a cruise ship or international travel in the past 14 days, have been around anyone who is known to carry the virus

Cover coughs and sneezes, avoid large crowds, and wash hands frequently for 20 seconds at a time

Call ahead for appointments instead of walking in, so we can limit the number of patients in our office at any given time

 

 

We are taking extra precaution to minimize any potential impact to our patients and staff. We are monitoring reputable national sources, like Gov.uk, to stay up to date and will let you all know of any changes that need to happen.
